Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire a Natural Gas Training Supervisor for our Rochester, PA location.  Under limited supervision, this position is critical to assisting the Area Manager in providing outstanding service and the highest quality trained teammates for our major customers in the area. 

The purpose of a Natural Gas Training Supervisor at Team Fishel is to oversee and conduct Team Fishel technical natural gas training & development needs, analyses, and assessments for the Rochester, PA area operations. Also develops and implements specified training (such as specific gas OQ systems); development programs; and initiatives to meet assessed (internal and customer) needs. Perform QC/QA onsite visits.

Responsibilities

1.     Evaluate Teammates’ performance and provide coaching

2.     Responsible for making sure that all OQ for Teammates are current

3.     Setting up training and performing training for covered task

4.     Knowledge of standards for a number of customer utilities that are our customer

5.     Perform QC/QA site visits

6.     Champion Teammate development programs


Requirements & Qualifications:

1.     Ability to communicate with Teammates and customers

2.     5-7 years related experience in construction

3.     Competent Person Training in Trenching and Excavation

4.     Competent Person Training in Confined Spaces

5.     Understanding of general safety processes and practices related to the construction industry.

6.     Experience running small to medium size jobs.

7.     Basic computer and smartphone skills, word processing, Excel or similar, e-mail.

8.     Familiar with construction drawings and blueprints.

9.     Familiar with construction equipment.
