OSP Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Quality Reviews of OSP Brownfield aerial fiber GPON jobs that have been designed by others.

• Review accuracy of the work prints relative to Rural Utility Services (RUS) units, and the overall workability of the job, including fiber splicing in the underground, aerial and buried environments.

• Conduct field visits as required

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in OSP Design Engineering in all environments: aerial, buried and underground.

• A complete understanding of RUS assembly units and how they’re applied to engineered jobs.

• Must have full working knowledge of Fireworks, Bid Master, NDS, OSP-FM, CAD, WFMT, JDS and related systems.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to track, prioritize, and complete multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
