Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire outstanding Groundman in our Louisville, KY office! 

The Groundman will handle projects of various complexity and perform site work on new business projects for our Louisville Construction division. It is also a great opportunity to be part of the team that will keep Team Fishel as the leader in utility construction industry in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work as a part of a streetlight and underground electric crew

  • Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site

  • Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor

  • Handle physically demanding construction duties

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A is strongly desired

  • Must be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills

  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach

  • Must be able to climb ladders

  • Must be able to travel

  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions

  • Valid Driver's license required with clean driving record for the last 3 years

  • Must be committed to working safely

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen


Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
