Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is hiring a Telecommunication Lineman Groundhand for our
Tucson, AZ Operations.
Responsibilities
Work as a part of an overhead telecom line crew.
Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions
Planning and initiating projects
Follow OSHA, Team Fishel, and customer safety requirements
Excavating to set poles and anchors
Maintaining and repairing overhead distribution or transmission lines
Stringing new wire or maintaining old wire
Installing and maintaining underground telecommunications systems
Set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment
Tree trimming
Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools etc
Valid Class A CDL is strongly desired
Bilingual in Spanish and prior construction experience is a plus
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
