Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility
construction since 1936, is hiring Underground Cable Splicers for electric projects in the Tuscaloosa, AL area.
Successful candidates will be skilled in the construction, maintenance
and repair of electrical underground distribution systems.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Safely perform new construction, maintenance
or repair work of energized and de-energized underground electric systems
2. Familiar with all aspects of
underground distribution
3. Skilled at switching and
splicing
4. Skilled at identifying
primary and secondary voltage
5. Able to work in confined
spaces
6. Knowledgeable on the proper
use and inspection of PPE and cover up
7. Capable of safely operating
and maintaining company equipment
8. Able to safely plan and
conduct work based on job prints and utility locates
Job Requirements:
1. 1-3 years of experience
2. Occasional travel required, must be able
to safely operate a company vehicle
3. Must be able to safely and reliably work
in outdoor conditions and inclement weather
