Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction and Engineering, is hiring an Office Lead / Administrative Assistant for our Professional Serivces Group (PSG) operation in Mechanicsville, VA.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, accounting, be detailed oriented and familiar with construction. Working well as part of a team is essential.
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and pride in their work. They must be able to problem solve, and improvise when necessary. Curiosity and willingness to learn are great attributes to bring to this position.
This position requires someone who works well with multiple deadline driven responsibilities, ability to multitask and communicate effectively on workload and changing priorities. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to
Material Inventory Reconciliation (Weekly and Monthly tracking)
Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable. Full cycle A/P understanding is preferred. This position is responsible for taking calls from all field employees requesting to purchase goods and services. Issuance of Purchase Orders, verifying delivery or receipt of product/service, reconciling statements/invoices for payment authorization and accurate job costing, researching and setting up vendors locally and out of state for goods and services.
Enter and manage daily payroll & equipment
Communicate with customers, Division Manager and supervisors
Collecting and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel
Create and compile billing invoices using internal and customer systems
Track and maintain billing spreadsheets and estimates
Researching and compiling data
Ensure accurate job costing
Accounts Receivable as needed
Other office duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Must be able to work with high volume and meet deadlines
Ideal candidate will have experience in utility construction
Must be detail-oriented and exhibit proficiency in MS Excel and Word
Demonstrate superior communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
Must be extremely versatile and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Must be able to occasionally work overtime
Bilingual in Spanish and prior construction experience is a plus
