Traffic Control Technician

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire Traffic Control Technicians for our Phoenix, AZ location. 

Team Fishel specializes in utility construction and network installation services with offices nationwide. Our Customers include broadband communications providers, gas distribution companies, electrical utility companies, government agencies, public and private enterprises, commercial and residential developers, general contractors, and educational institutions.

Responsibilities:

•  Setting up the work zone using the appropriate safety standards

• Controlling traffic

• Breaking down and cleaning up the work zone upon completion of the flagging operation

• Follow company and state guidelines for effective, safe well-managed work zones.\

• Other duties as assigned 

 Requirements & Qualifications:

• ATTSA Certification

• Must have an excellent driving record

• Must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Prior experience in Traffic Control Services or Utility or Construction Industry preferred

• Capable of standing and holding a STOP/SLOW sign for up to 8 hours in a day.
