Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Survey CAD Technician for our Professional Services Group's Hampton, VA office.  


The Survey CAD Technician will be responsible for working closely with the engineering, right of way, land survey and permitting staff to produce high quality drawings and be able to verbally communicate specifications and directions to and from the survey crew and design team. The Survey Technician will be working under the direction of a Licensed Land Surveyor.

The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

  • AutoCAD knowledge, experience, and skills, Carlson Survey experience a plus

  • Set-up and prepare survey drawings from record drawings and as-builts

  • Experience with field survey procedures and data processing a plus

  •  Complete work from markups

  •  Provide assistance with submittals

  •  Maintain QA/QC processes and requirements
