Gas Crew Leader

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire a Gas Crew Leader for our Tucson, AZ location. The purpose of a Gas Distribution Foreman at Team Fishel is to manage the job site, maintain a safe working environment for our Teammates, customers, and general public, and be accountable for quality, productivity, and costs.

Responsibilities:

• Leads on various size projects

• Ensure accuracy of time sheets and expense reports

• Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customers, lack of materials, absenteeism etc.

• Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards

• Ensures Safety Practices are observed by all crews during their work

• Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of project

• May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance

Requirements & Qualifications:

• OQ qualified a plus, or fulfill the requirement for Operator Qualification upon hiring

• Has a thorough working knowledge of natural gas distribution construction and installation

• Must have previous experience working from blueprints and specifications

• High school education or equivalent classes in industry-related courses

• Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License

• Ability to communicate with Teammates and customers

Bilingual and prior construction experience is a plus

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
