Responsibilities
Installation of new steel gas mains & services using tools such as a welding machine, cutting torches
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, soldering
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
Layout of pipe, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications
Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools
Requirements & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two + years related work experience
Valid Class A CDL Drivers license preferred
Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
Prior construction experience is a plus
