Superintendent (Civil Dry Utilities)

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is looking to hire a Civil Dry Utilities Superintendent at our Phoenix, AZ office. The purpose of this position is to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementation to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the projects

• Review and understand construction documents

• Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers and resolve discrepancies

• Participate in the development and management of a project schedule

• Manage the utilization of company tools and equipment

• Coach, supervise, and develop Teammates

• Conduct effective pre-construction planning sessions and project site meetings

• Supervise project partners, foremen, and crews

• Manage and track work progress and productivity

• Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Dry Utilities construction experience, with 2 of those years being in a Supervisory role

• Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projects

• Demonstrate flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines

• Proven time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines

• Work both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

• Display superior written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills
