Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Engineering, is hiring Design Technicians for our Tampa, FL Professional Services Group (PSG) team.
The Design Technician will be responsible for working closely with the engineering, right of way, land survey and permitting staff to produce high quality graphics and be able to verbally communicate specifications and directions to and from the design team.
The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
Ability to synthesize information and create designs
Complete markups
Report graphics preparation
Set-up and prepare plans
Provide assistance with submittals
Maintain QA/QC processes and requirements
AutoCAD or GIS knowledge, experience, and skills a plus
Experience with electrical distribution design and/or utility design a plus
Candidates with significant experience in a design field or a 2 or 4 year degree in a design or engineering based discipline are encouraged to apply.
