Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is Hiring a Payroll Specialist at our Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Our office professionals work as part of a team to accomplish deadline-driven tasks and departmental goals. This role has a high volume of data entry; attention to detail and accuracy are a must. The wage range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 an hour depending on skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Process and maintain the daily tasks of payroll by creating templates, verifying, and entering data.
2. Verify all payroll information for accuracy to ensure accurate and complete payroll entries.
3. Perform administrative functions including maintaining payroll files, etc.
4. Provide excellent customer service for Teammates by explaining payroll and time recording policies and procedures
5. Research and respond to inquiries from management and Teammates.
6. Assist with other office duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Excel/Google Sheets knowledge with the ability to develop and maintain spreadsheets.
2. Proficient with payroll processing data systems and the ability to extract information.
3. Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working in a confidential environment.
