Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring a Human Resource Manager in the Las Vegas metro area to assist our Western offices with attracting, training, and retaining our world-class Teammates in Arizona, Nevada, and California! The Human Resource Manager will be responsible to provide support for regional leaders with recruiting, development, and retention efforts while also joining a team of other dedicated regionally aligned HR Managers to assist in developing company-wide policies, programs, and initiatives.

Responsibilities
1. Serve as a trusted consultant for regional managers in the areas of talent attraction, Teammate development, and retention
2. Partner with regional leaders to create and implement recruiting plans to meet their talent goals
3. Analyze data to monitor trends using metrics such as turnover, training hours, and performance management compliance to assist area leaders
4. Assist in the development of local area and company-wide training programs and conduct training sessions (in-person and virtual)
5. Collaborate with local leaders and corporate departments to support the day-to-day management of human resource functions
6. Work with local managers to resolve performance management challenges and investigate claims when necessary
7. Partner with other HR Managers and corporate leaders to create or update company policies, programs, and initiatives

Preferred Prerequisites
1. 2+ years experience in human resource management/ generalist, talent development, and/or recruiting roles
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
3. Experience creating and implementing recruiting plans using multiple sources (social media, local networks, school visits, etc)
4. Knowledge of employment law
5. Experience with Microsoft and Google office tools
6. Ability to travel
7. Experience in the construction industry a plus
8. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) speaker is a plus
