Accounts Receivable Office Support Specialist

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Office Support Specialist for our Mechanicsville, VA based Professional Services Group.

The purpose of this role at Team Fishel is to provide excellent and reliable support to the Office Manger and field operations teams.  We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in their work. You must be able to problem solve and improvise when necessary.  This position requires someone who works well with multiple deadline driven responsibilities, ability to multitask, and communicate effectively on workload and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Calling or emailing customers on aged invoices

• Data entry

• Credit memos

• Operate multiple software programs

• Spread-sheet tracking

• Manage Aged Receivable reports

• Other office support duties as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping

• Previous experience working in Accounts Receivable is required

• Must be detail-oriented and exhibit proficiency in MS Excel and Word

• Demonstrate superior communication, organizational, and prioritization skills

• Must be extremely versatile and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Able to work in a fast-paced and occasionally demanding environment
