Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is hiring a Regional Fleet Manager at our Groveland, FL (Orlando area) office. The Fleet Manager provides leadership in the area of fleet operations and is responsible for the fleet accounting system, best practices, on-site fueling equipment, and fleet data processing. This position supports all operations in the Southeast Region including utility construction projects in FL, AL, and GA.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversight of fleet assets; accountable for the management and execution of the region's fleet budget
2. Manages maintenance and repair policies of fleet assets
3. Provides oversight of vehicle registration, insurance, and documentation to ensure compliance with state and DOT regulations
4. Provides management and oversight for the region's fuel card program
5. Oversees installation, maintenance, and operation of the fleet's GPS system
6. Oversees compliance with Electronic Drivers Daily Inspection and hardware support
Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of professional fleet management experience required
2. Experience in the construction industry preferred
3. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from field operation Teammates to corporate executives
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary along with the ability to work under minimal supervision
5. Experience with Microsoft Office tools is necessary
6. Must possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to coach others
