Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business since 1936, is hiring Overhead Electric Distribution Construction Supervisors for projects in the Fort Lauderdale, FL (Broward County) area. The Supervisor position will be responsible for leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Organizing materials, equipment, and labor
2. Providing all required job reporting
3. Completing as-builts and redlines
4. Lead crews to meet project specifications in a safe and efficient manner
5. Communicate job status with customer
6. Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews
7. Reports, coordinates, and supervises all aspects of a project
8. May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposals, or quality assurance
9. Train and develop Teammates and evaluate their performance
10. Document Teammate counseling, warning, and terminations
Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Previous Lineman and electrical distribution construction leadership experience is required
2. Experience in contract management, change orders, and unit price schedules, etc.
3. Ability to interpret construction blueprints and create as-builds
4. Familiar with Microsoft Office and Google applications (Email, Excel, Word)
5. Valid Drivers License
