Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is hiring a Senior Low Voltage Cable Technician for our Louisville, KY Technologies Group. Our Low Voltage Technologies Group is experiencing exciting and rapid growth. The anticipated pay range for this position is $28-$32 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities 

  • Establish clear and concise productivity goals and quality expectations for crews.

  • Prepare and review project documents with the crew prior to the project start date.

  • Ensure that the infrastructure installation and equipment performance meets Team Fishel's, the Customer's, and Industry standards.

  • Ensure the correct tool and test equipment usage practices are followed.

  • Maintain company vehicles according to established company maintenance practices.

  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted timely.

  • Provide weekly updates on the projects with a two-week-look-ahead schedule.

  • Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and tools are delivered to the job site on schedule.

  • Manage and accurately document all project change orders. 

Qualifications

  • Possess a High School Diploma or a GED Certificate.

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have a working knowledge of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic cable installation (security knowledge is a plus).

  • Possess fundamental computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

  • Have a keen desire to be a team player and succeed in the technologies business.

  • Possess an above-average knowledge of the telecommunications industry.

  • BICSI certification is a plus.

  • Bilingual experience is a plus.


Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all safety, tool operation, and maintenance areas.
