Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is seeking great Concrete Finishers for our Telecom business in our Santa Ana, CA office. This skilled labor position supports our Overhead and Underground Telecom utility construction crews with hard surface restoration. This position starts at $22.50 to $27.50 an hour based on skills and experience.
Concrete/ Asphalt Finisher Teammates will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete and asphalt, such as walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools and will possess the ability to meet all specifications while remaining focused on safety at all times.
Responsibilities:
1. Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them.
2. Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed.
3. Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using a rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float
4. Work as a part of a crew.
5. Handle physically demanding construction duties.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Must be able to follow instructions.
2. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach.
3. Must be able to travel to support construction projects.
4. Must be able to lift, carry, and place heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
5. Valid Drivers license is required, a CDL-A license is a plus!
6. Must have experience with construction power tools
7. Must have experience restoring and finishing asphalt and/or concrete
