Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is hiring an Office Support professional for our Henderson, NV office. The position requires an individual with a can-do attitude, extreme organization and the ability to manage shifting priorities. The ability to retain information is important. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, be detail-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy. Capacity to work for multiple managers with diverse work styles in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project cost data in accounting system

  • Request locates

  • Receive and distribute incoming phone calls, correspondence, invoices and contracts

  • Issue purchase orders, process invoices

  • Prepare expense reports

  • Produce various reports as needed

  • Coordinate office supply orders and office machine maintenance

  • Support the management and organization of the project documentation system

  • Prepare for and coordinate meetings

  • Process outgoing packages, receive and distribute incoming packages

  • Process New Hires including drug screen swab

  • Assist with time entry (Payroll)

  • Book travel for management and crews

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive construction industry administrative experience

  • Associate's degree or higher, or equivalent experience

  • Able to anticipate project management team needs, make decisions and resolve issues

  • Uses time effectively based on key priorities; accepts direction from more than one person at a time and oversees multiple projects

  • Builds successful relationships with associates, vendors, contractors and other business partners typically encountered in the construction industry

  • Actions should reflect and support company core values

  • Open to change and can learn quickly when faced with new opportunities and challenges

  • Organizes people, tools and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
