Project Coordinator - Fiber Optic Cabling and Splicing

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Project Coordinator for Fiber Optic Cabling and Splicing projects from our Manassas, VA operation. The Project Coordinator serves as a central coordinator for project communication, organization, and administrative support across Team Fishel's Fiber Optic Cabling and Splicing project management. 

Key Responsibilities

Project Tracking & Reporting

• Provide full support and daily assistance to our Project Managers with project tracking

• Review and track material usage for each project

• Request material pickup and add new material to the material tracking platforms

• Attend daily coordination meetings to generate action items and assign them to the appropriate manager

• Serve as a liaison with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project deliverables

• Conduct follow-up correspondence to collect updates and confirm data

• Coordinate access requests, project documentation, and resource needs

• Maintain organized to-do lists, meeting notes, and follow-up schedules for all active projects

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and all video conferencing platforms

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Professional, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up and problem-solving

• Demonstrate ability and experience specifically providing project coordination for key customer account(s).

Preferred Experience

• Background in administration support for construction project operations, or construction supervision
