Team Fishel is hiring Apprentice Underground Electric Lineworkers for our Hampton, VA operation. The purpose of an Apprentice Underground Lineworker at Team Fishel is to participate and successfully complete a rigorous training program and develop on-the-job skills on the way to becoming an Underground Electric Lineworker. Apprentice Lineworkers will be able to competently and confidently perform in a highly skilled and safe manner all the duties associated with the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage underground electrical power systems.
Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license, holding a Class A Commercial Driver License strongly desired
Previous experience or education in underground electric linework preferred
Participate in the Apprentice Lineworker training program including after-hours studies
Provide support for Lineworkers operating in underground facility environment
Assemble & disassemble hardware for underground installations in a de-energized environment with instruction from Journeyman Lineworker
Other duties as assigned
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
Starting pay range of $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience.
